Throughout his life, Baron Jeremy David Paul Hamelin VI, was told his family came from Noble origins, but never was any proof provided. As he aged, the more intense his internal desire for the truth grew. The Baron says he always felt an intrinsic drive not just to succeed, but to leave a mark on history, to create a legacy. This drive has led to many accomplishments of which he is extremely proud. Overtime, as he recalled the stories, his curiosity grew and he started to develop a theory that perhaps the drive for greatness was truly intrinsic -- perhaps it was tied to his bloodline.

At that point the Baron decided to turn his attentions to his family's origins. After consulting with his father the two teamed up and hired an expert team of genealogists and lawyers. The history came pouring in and the result was clear: the family was indeed of noble origins.  

Over his life, Baron Hamelin VI, has devoted his time to pursuing his passions, which include: French history and culture, philanthropy, politics, real estate, travel, wine, and writing. A self-confessed francophile, the Baron often spends time reading up on French history, particularly around the two French Empires, Napoleon I, and the Bourbon Royal Family. When not brushing up on history, the Baron enjoys practising French and wine-making.

Professionally, the Baron has split his time between real estate and politics. Collaborating on various political campaigns of all levels, for over a decade, Baron Hamelin VI, has built a reputation for integrity and passion in his political work. While still consulting on the odd campaign, the Baron has for the past seven years turned his attention to real estate. As a mortgage broker and avid investor, the Baron is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their real estate goals both now and in the future.

Forever committed to service, Baron Hamelin VI, also spends a considerable amount of time in the non-profit sphere. The Baron's first pursuit in the space came in 2019 when he founded the Thank a Soldier Foundation. This non-profit was created to "thank and support" the active and retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Additionally, the Baron has recently founded, and serves as the patron for, the Baron Hamelin Foundation, which is committed to "supporting young entrepreneurs" both in Canada and France. The Baron also serves on the Board of Directors for various other organizations including, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Alberta LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, and the Edmonton City Club.
